

Primary Closure Course for Pharmacists + Allied Health
The Primary Closure Course is designed for pharmacists, nurses, and allied health professionals who want to build confidence and competence in 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝘄𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 — from 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘀, 𝘁𝗶𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗲 𝗮𝗱𝗵𝗲𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 (𝗴𝗹𝘂𝗲) 𝘁𝗼 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴. This is developed for pharmacists who are currently or have completed the full scope training and require external training to practice primary closure.

Module 1 - Manage minor acute lacerations
This module equips pharmacists and allied health professionals with practical skills to identify laceration types, provide initial wound care and assessment, and recognise red flags requiring referral.
